Children NHS Registration Day – 18th November 2023
Sussex Dental Group – Portslade Village are delighted to announce a fantastic opportunity for local children (16 and under) to register as an NHS patient with us.
We have had repeated requests to register children even if we are unable to register the parents or adults, and we have been working towards a solution to help our local community. On Saturday the 18th November we are going to open the practice for unregistered children to attend for a dental examination.
If you have a child and would like them to be seen by one of our friendly Dentists on the 18th of November, please register your interest by emailing us at: portsladevillage@sussexdentalgroup.co.uk .
Our aim is to provide a positive, child friendly, dental experience where children can get used to the dental environment. We also aim to motivate and educate parents regarding best practice for good oral hygiene and how to build beneficial dental habits for their children.
Important Information to consider:
* Children must be 16 or under
* Exams will be by appointment only (no walk-ins)
* Must be able to attend on Saturday 18th Nov 2023 between 9am and 1pm
* Any required treatment following an examination will be undertaken in a separate appointment
* Children must attend with a parent or legal guardian, not with a friend or another family member. (We will not be able to see a child that attends without a parent or legal guardian).
* Please only book an appointment if you are sure you will be able to attend as spaces are limited.
* Numbers are limited, appointments available subject to capacity
* Unfortunately we are unable to assist with registration over the phone so please email us for a prompt response.
